WINNING? PLAIN SAILING FOR KNYSNA YACHT CLUB JUNIORS

The past weekend has been a great one for Knysna Yacht Club Junior Sailors.

At the 34th Eastern Cape Inter-schools Regatta their team of 4 from Knysna Primary School, Jason Cooke, Robert Conraidie, Sima Titi and Justin Stoker beat all opposition to win the Eastern Cape Inter-schools Junior Championship, an especially magnificent achievement as this is the boy's very first season of sailing!

Battling with tricky conditions including strong and fluky winds the full team of 7 including Luke and Kyran Bossozza (Knysna International School) and Ciaron Sharrocks (Knysna High) worked consistently as a team to achieve great results.

Coach Rob Clarke says "That was an awesome performance and we are looking forward to the Western Cape Provincial Championships in April"
